Bradmore garden centre re-opens after fire all-clear - 29 May 2013
Six fire appliances battled the blaze and did a great job of getting the fire under control," says Justin Farrington Smith on behalf of new owners Cherry Lane Garden Centres.
Although two thirds of the covered area of the site is presently unusable, Cherry Lane Bradmore is opening for business as promised this weekend.
We are also pleased to say that Wellingtons stylish Cafe & Bistro has also reopened.
"We had planned a special Bank Holiday reopening after refurbishing and fitting new facilities at Pendock Lane but we're not quitters.
"Most of our stock was affected in some way by the fire so as a special 'thank you' to our customers, we're selling off all stock at a 25% discount on top of the opening offers we had planned."
Pots, plants and compost are not included in the special one-off sale', says Justin. "Being outdoors, our gardening offer was thankfully unaffected by the fire."
Paying tribute to the work of many involved in getting the centre operational, Justin adds:
"In addition to the fire services, our special thanks go out to the twenty Cherry Lane staff at Bradmore and the contractors who worked so hard to ensure we have been able to open again."
Cherry Lane Bradmore is at Pendock Lane, Bradmore, Nottinghamshire NG11 6PQ
