    Cherry Lane Garden Centres is the UK’s only value garden centre group. As a family-owned business, we have garden centres throughout East Anglia, Yorkshire and the Midlands. We are committed to offering great quality horticultural, home and leisure products at unbeatable value. As well as a large selection of plants, trees and shrubs, many of which are grown in Cherry Lane’s own four nursery operations, the garden centres also stock an extensive range of value garden furniture, sheds and garden accessories. Plus, extensive homewares, pet and wildlife products and provides great offers on toys, leisure and seasonal goods. There are also warm and welcoming restaurants for customers to enjoy.   Time for a little history… Cherry Lane was established in 2001 with the purchase of three garden centres in East Anglia – Pulham Market, Fritton and Long Melford – by parent company QD Group. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, starting as a group of three garden centres in East Anglia to 17 across the country today, reaching from Suffolk to Worcester and Essex to Yorkshire. We also have five of our own on-site nurseries, which cultivate our Grown by Us range of homegrown plants that are sold across the business. We want to share our story with you and show you the timeline of when each garden centre joined our family, starting with our three original centres.   2001 – Long Melford One of the original stores, Cherry Lane at Long Melford is best-loved for being surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, nestled in an idyllic Suffolk village.   2001 – Pulham Market Pulham was one of the founding three Cherry Lane stores and is usually remembered for its resident dinosaurs! This store has a special place in my heart, as I have many fond childhood memories of visiting here.   2001 – South View One of our first Cherry Lane stores, South View at Fritton is popular for its impressive Christmas displays and extensive plant range.   2008 – Tickhill Cherry Lane Tickhill not only creates magnificent outdoor living displays, but their shopping village provides visitors with amazing local concession stands.   2011 – Braintree Cherry Lane at Braintree impresses visitors with their excellent customer service and welcoming atmosphere.   2012 – Beverley Cherry Lane Beverley is loved by locals for its flourishing nursery – and the tasty Fish & Chips Friday!   2012 – Roman Way Cherry Lane Roman Way is quite the “hidden gem”. It may look small from the roadside, but once inside customers discover a huge store with a fantastic outdoor area.   2013 – Bradmore Cherry Lane Bradmore has an outstanding reputation for its cafe and provides a fun day out for families with its soft play area.   2014 – Early Dawn Cherry Lane Early Dawn has a beautiful outdoor area which can be overlooked from the outdoor seating area in the cafe.   2016 – Glebe Cherry Lane Glebe loves to get involved with the local community, supporting their local groups and hosting an annual fireworks event.   2018 – The Barn At Cherry Lane The Barn, you can find an impressive aquatics section with friendly staff on hand to help. Plus, I’ve heard their scones are the tastiest for miles.   2018 – David’s Nurseries At Cherry Lane David’s Nurseries, you will be blown away by their fantastic selections of high-quality plants that have been grown on-site.   2019 – Barnett Hill Cherry Lane Barnett Hill is perfect for a family day out, loved by locals for its Garden Tots play area.   2019 – Podington Cherry Lane Podington offers a unique experience, with their large pond full of huge koi carp for visitors to enjoy.   2021 – Langford Cherry Lane Langford has a fantastic on-site nursery where they grow and sell their own superb quality plants.   2022 – Retford & Gainsborough New to the family, Cherry Lane Retford & Gainsborough will be hosting a free family fun day to welcome the local community.   2022 – Riverside Our most recent family member, Cherry Lane Riverside is adored by locals and we are proud to have them joining us.     With thanks We know we couldn’t have grown without the support of our loyal and much-loved customers.
