– When you get your Poinsettia home, remove the packaging and place your plant somewhere with natural sunlight.
– Avoid the cold, drafts and direct heat.
– An ideal ambient temperature for your Poinsettia is between 16-18 degrees Celsius.
– Avoid direct contact with your Poinsettia as they have a skin-irritating sap. This especially applies to young children and pets.
– Water your Poinsettia once a week when the pot becomes lightweight. Water the plant in the sink but let it drain thoroughly before repositioning into its planter or saucer. Do not allow your Poinsettia to sit in water.
– If you follow these simple guidelines you should get at least 4 to 6 weeks of enjoyment from your Poinsettia.
