Johnsons Pea Onward Seeds produce a well-established high-yielding maincrop variety which is suited to the UK climate. Enjoy well filled pods tasty plump marrowfat peas. The big dark green blunt ended pods often grow to a size and quality that makes them ideal enough to be used for exhibition due to their steady reliability and generous harvest. A low calorie and high fibre vegetable, these peas make a great addition to soups, risottos or are a well-rounded side dish

Easy to grow and versatile, peas and beans make a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal. As well as being a traditional side, legumes also provide a terrific source of protein for a vegan diet. Peas and broad beans prefer cool conditions but need to be grown in full sun or partial shade. Short on space? Many varieties are well suited to growing in plant pots. Ideally you do not want to overcook either peas or beans, keeping just a touch of crispness.
