French produced Charlotte seed potatoes (solanum tuberosum) with their gloriously sumptuous waxy yellow flesh are the finest addition to all salad varieties. Packed with natural flavour they have outstanding cooking qualities and are best enjoyed boiled.

Characteristics:
When To Plant: We recommend that you start chitting / sprouting seed potatoes in the third week of February. This will give them four to five weeks to develop healthy sprouts just at the time when they are ready to be planted out in late March / early April.
When To Harvest: June Onwards
Soil Type: Suitable for all soil types
Advice: Best suited to grow in trenches or grow-sacks
