Johnsons Carrot Amsterdam Forcing 3 Sprint Seeds produce sweet æfingerÆ carrots or baby carrots that are one of the earliest varieties to harvest. Perfect to be grown in smaller gardens or balconies, these carrots grow well in smaller spaces making them suitable for large pots. A great source of vitamin A & C as well as dietary fibre, these carrots are a versatile vegetable that can be used in a variety of dishes or as a snack

Root vegetables boast a host of colours and flavours and include carrots, radish, horseradish, sweet potato, turnip and beetroot. Their low rate of metabolism allows for a relatively long postharvest life. Thanks to their high water content, they are key ingredients for a low fat diet. This wholefood is well suited for all cooking options: grilling, mashing, roasting, frying and even in soups. Don't skimp on sunshine when growing them!

Advice: Harvest when small for sweetest flavour. Lift remainder in October, remove soul from roots and store in dry sand
