Marginal Plants

You can create a shallow water trench or small fish pond in most outdoor spaces; they'll encourage wildlife as well as enhancing the feng shui of your garden. Marginal plants can be grown in gravel or if your pond has steep sides you can use bricks or upturned pots to create a ledge for marginal plants. Tall marginal plants with their straight leaves allow insects like damselflies to perch - short, bushy plants provide shelter and breeding grounds. Small or garden ponds dressed with marginal plants look so much more appealing to us as well.
