Deep water plants are ideal for growing on the bottom of your pond or placing in deeper planting shelves. The plants with upright stems are beneficial for insects and dragonflies. Those with floating leaves offer shade and cover for your pond life. Deep water plants cannot be grown outside of water and thrive with several inches of coverage.
Benefits: Free flowering for most of the year. Very hardy, if protected from frost, it will flower all winter. It dies back for a short time in August. Fragile leaves may be damaged in transit, remove these and new will soon regrow.

Helpful Tips: This plant looks fantastic early and late in the year. The foliage dies back in the summer. Leaves damaged in transit can be removed and new ones will grow.
Plant in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days.
Repotting or Replanting: 1 litre Nuphar require potting into a 3 litre or larger mesh basket. All other sizes do not require repotting; there is no need to remove the mesh basket.
