Anglo Aquatics Nymphaea Alba 1 Litre

This Anglo Aquatics Nymphaea Alba is a Water Lily plant and is ideal for placing at the bottom of your pond or on deep set planting shelves.

Waterlilies will sit at the bottom of your pond and their leaves will grow towards the surface providing you with an attractive display. They can also be placed on planting shelves in deeper ponds. Make sure to place them in a sunny location away from water features and with plenty of space for their roots.

Benefits: Britain’s only native water lily has handsome green foliage and white, but not prolific, flowers. Best grown about 1 metre deep, but it can grow in up to 3 metres of water if allowed to adjust very gradually, since its growth rate at these depths will be significantly slower.

Helpful Tips: Plant in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.

Repotting or Replanting: 1 litre lilies require potting into a 3 litre or larger mesh basket. All other size lilies do not need repotting but benefit from being potted up. 30 litre lilies do not need repotting for in excess of 10 - 15 years. There is no need to remove the mesh basket.
