These moisture loving plants are ideal for placing around the borders of your pond. They love moist soil and boggy conditions but should not be submerged. With plenty of flowering species you can create an attractive surround. Make sure to allow for some sunlight to reach them.
Benefits: Slow growing with gigantic leaves requiring a great deal of space. It makes a good alternative to Gunnera manicata for a smaller garden. The new foliage is an attractive deep mahogany red. It has a tall flower spike.
