Details

Fast growing and slow to bolt, this dark, rounded leaves on compact plants can be grown as baby leaf or left to mature. It shows resistance to downy mildew races 1-7. Seedlings appear within 7-14 days of planting and if continuous crops are desirable sow every 2-3 weeks. Can be sown in large patio pots, containers, grow bags or a seed bed. This is the variety most sold in the supermarkets as baby leaf spinach.
