General Tasks
Continue to dead head bedding as blooms fade.
Check baskets and containers for water daily and water as necessary. Water with a liquid feed once a week to give plants a boost and keep them flowering until early autumn.
Trees and Shrubs
Continue to dead head faded blooms on roses and continue spraying every two weeks with Roseclear to keep aphids and blackspot away.
Water camellias regularly during dry spells to stop them dropping flower buds for a good display of flowers next year.
Bulbs and Perennials
Continue to stake bulbs and perennials as required.
Vegetable Garden
Continue to lift early potatoes and second early potatoes should be ready.
Lawns
Continue to cut lawns regularly with the blades set high.
